The date of the 5A Region 1 Championship Meet has been CHANGED.
Region will be held on SATURDAY, JANUARY 30th at the Mountain Crest Pool.
Warm-ups for Sky View will begin at 7:30 AM and we have been assigned lanes 4-6 for warm up. The meet will begin at 9:15 AM.
There is an entrance fee for this meet: $4.00 (non-swim team student spectators/senior citizens), $5.00 (adults), $2.00 for heat sheets.
There will be a 45-minute break directly following the 50 Free. During the last 15 minutes of the break, they will recognize the seniors from each school in the region.
(Scoring points for the top 12 places in each event: 16,13,12,11,10,9,7,5,4,3,2,1. Relays are double the points.) There will be medals presented for 1-6th place for individual events and the first place relays. First place team trophies for the boys and girls.
USA Swimming: If swimmers would like their times to count for USA swimming, there will be USA officials observing the meet. You will need to fill out the paperwork and pay $5 to be observed. Check with Marcus to get the paperwork. (It needs to be turned in to the head official at the beginning of the meet.)
